Construction on East 12th Street will lead to road closures in CNV.
Lonsdale Energy Corporation is installing district energy main line and connection to a new building, which will lead to road closure and traffic delays.
Construction will be on E 12th Street between and on intersection with St. George’s Avenue and the north-west corner of 127-129 E 12th St.
Road closure will be on 100 Block of East 12th Street.
The hours of construction will be from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, and on Saturday, from 9 am to 7 pm, if required.
Street trees will not be impacted.
The construction will start on November 16 and will continue until the end of December.
Meanwhile, bus bulb construction starts today at 17th & Lonsdale, and on Thursday at 15th and Lonsdale Avenue.
Impacts will be minimal for vehicles, and transit users may find bus stops temporarily closed or relocated.
