The east parking lot at Lynn Canyon Park was temporarily closed Thursday, Sept. 3, to accommodate helicopter operations related to a bridge replacement project.
According to the advisory by the District of North Vancouver, the helicopter operations were scheduled from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along St. Mary’s Trail.
The closure was needed to facilitate the helicopter operations for the bridge replacement project. Spotters were stationed throughout the trail to inform and assist trail users during the operations, according to the advisory.
