The Gull Bar and Kitchen in North Vancouver’s Shipyards District is asking for the return of its model boat, the SS Gull, stolen on Saturday, according to an Instagram post.
The boat, a wooden model ship with white sails, has been in the family for decades, the post says.
In the post, the restaurant made a direct appeal: “If returned unharmed, all will be forgiven. If not… We know your faces. We have VIDEO EVIDENCE that we will withhold in hopes of a safe return.”
The restaurant says it is withholding the video evidence for now, hoping the boat comes back safely.
