Performing a wheelie on a public roadway is considered stunt driving under the B.C. Motor Vehicle Act. West Vancouver Police say the offense results in a fine and the impoundment of the motorcycle.

In a social media post, the department cautioned riders: “Best to take this kind of activity to the track, and definitely best NOT to perform it in front of a Police Officer.”
